LMK 458 Probe for Marine and Offshore Applications

The LMK 458 hydrostatic probe has been developed for measuring levels in service and storage tanks. LMK 458 series carry certification for shipbuilding and offshore applications. A permissible operating temperature up to 125 °C and the possibility to use the device in intrinsic safe areas enable to measure the pressure of various fluids under extreme conditions. The basis for the LMK 458 is a capacitive ceramic sensor element designed by BD Sensors, which offers a high overload resistance and medium compatibility.

DMK 458 Pressure Transmitter for Marine and Offshore Applications

The DMK 458 pressure transmitter has been developed for marine and offshore applications. In addition to thread connections, different flush versions are available, which are especially suitable for pasty, viscous, and polluted media. Due to the capacitive ceramic sensor developed by BD Sensors the DMK 458 shows an outstanding accuracy as well as a high overload and temperature resistance.

DMP 457 Pressure Transmitter

The DMP 457 pressure transmitter has been designed with extreme conditions in mind, as found in shipbuilding and offshore applications. All gaseous and liquid media, which are compatible with stainless steel 1.4404 (316L) respectively can be used. The sensor element is a piezoresistive stainless steel sensor with high accuracy and excellent long-term stability.

KPS Pressure Switch and Thermostat

The KPS Series consists of a series of pressure and temperature-controlled switches. In this series, special attention has been given to meeting demands for a high level of enclosure, robust and compact construction, and resistance to shock and vibration. For KPS pressure switches the position of the contacts depends on the pressure in the inlet connection and the set scale value. For KPS thermostats the position of the contacts depends on the temperature of the sensor and the set scale value. The series covers most outdoor as well as indoor application requirements and is suitable for use in monitoring alarm and control systems in factories, diesel plants, compressors, power stations and on-board ships.

Key Features:

RT Pressure Switch

RT pressure switches incorporate a pressure controlled, single pole change over swich where the contact position depends on the pressure in the connection port and the set value. The RT series consists of pressure switches, deferential pressure switches and pressure switches for neutral zone regulation, all for general use within the industrial and marine segments. The series also covers safety pressure switches dedicated for steam boiler plants. For installations in which operation is particularly critical from safety and economic points of view, the use of fail-safe pressure switches is recommended. The use of gold-plated contacts is also recommended in such installations, provided operation involves only a few switching cycles or signal currents and voltages.

Key Features:

CAS Series Pressure Switches

The CAS series consists of a series of pressure-controlled switches and temperature-controlled switches. In this series, special attention has been given to meeting demands for a high level of enclosure, robust and compact construction and resistance to shock and vibration. The series is suitable for use in alarm and regulation systems in factories, diesel plants, compressors, power stations and on-board ships.

Key Features:

MBC Series Pressure Switches

MBC pressure switches are used in industrial and marine applications where space and reliability are the most important features. MBCs are compact pressure switches, designed according to our block design to survive in the harsh conditions known from machine rooms onboard ships. MBCs have high vibration resistance and MBC 5100 features all common marine approvals. The fixed, but low deferential guarantees accurate monitoring of critical pressures. MBV test valves can be delivered as standard option for MBC
